was very excited to see that there was a sequel to Stephanie Meyer's debut. Twilight
did have its faults, but it was light and the romance was refreshingly well written.
And let's face it, I fell in love with Edward just like the rest of us. He's beautiful
and frightening at the same time and those of you who have a problem with Bella's
continued amazement of his physical appearance: aren't we all shallow enough that
we'd like our significant other to look that way? What's wrong with a little fantasy?
Alright, so I had bought Twilight when it first came out, and at fifteen I thought
it was one of the best works of literature I had ever read. I was among those screaming
fan girls who thought Edward, with his charming personality and that deep, dangerous
secret was the ultimate man. And Bella, with her narrative, was the perfect protagonist.
My opinion of the book changed very quickly.
Before I begin, I'll give a brief overview

Hilarious story about aliens coming down to earth to steal everyone's fanciest and best from washing lines. Excellent rhyming story which had me and the sock-biter in stitches. Watch out for the detail in the underwear in the illustrations. Well put together package which came top in the recent Richard and Judy programme on kids reading on Channel 4. It may not be mind-enhancing literature but my boys (3 & 5) love to laugh about underwear and this combination of pants and silly creatures from outer-space is
This book is yet another testament to J. K. Rowling's astounding imagination. There are five tales altogether and after each one, Dumbledore writes his own analysis of the tale, and his personal experience of it ('The Fountain of Fair Fortune' has the funniest commentary). An introduction is penned by Rowling, and the original story is translated by Hermione Granger from the ancient runes they were originally written in (she is given credit, but she does not appear anywhere in the book writing as herself). At the end of
Since my teens I've always been a little bit overweight. Although not madly upset
by it I have tried all the usual diets, but I've never been able to stick to them
for more than a few days at a time and always ended up binging to make up for my
loss and putting on more weight! Still, I wasn't huge (average size 14) so it wasn't
too much cause for concern past the usual New Year's resolution (we've all been there!).
